Sold my 2010 690 SMC and bought a 2020 Duke 790. My own thoughts after switching.
Post Body

790 Duke is the better bike for the road and long distance touring.

690 SMCR is the better bike for commuting and/or quick blasts of up to 80-100km.

Both bikes have flaws. 790 Duke needs better suspension. 690 SMC is too lightweight for high speed (highways). And is not comfortable after riding it for a while.

But both bikes are extremely fun! In the mountains they are both a tie.

How's the quality of the 790? I've been looking into getting one but have concerns about it being manufactured in China
