I have an AA in chemistry from GPC with a 3.66 GPA. I transferred to GT and started my program in chemical & biomedical engineering. Toward the end of that program, I began to lose interest. Long story short, I have 116 out of 132 credit hours toward that degree but no option to return to GT, and a 1.49 GPA.
Since then I've worked in healthcare IT and systems administration, and now I work in pure software.
It's time to get a degree. My first thought is to leverage the credits I already have into some sort of engineering or chemistry degree. However, CS, IT, computer engineering, or something like that may be more applicable to my career path. To put my desire for any particular degree in perspective, my heart's desire is to finish any program that will help my career, then get a seminary degree.
Any advice? Thoughts on what these programs are like at KSU (good and bad)? Recommendations of other programs? Tips on navigating the registrar and such? Advice from anyone who's been in a similar situation?
