The last quarterly SEC filing ended in September. At that time the financials looked pretty bad. Here are some things I didn't like.
For the quarter (Q3, 22) they had $1.3M in revenue.
They spent: $2.2M in the cost of the goods sold.
They spent $2.07M in R&D
They spent $1.9M in sales and marketing
They spent $2.9M in general and administrative.
This company is losing 4 times what it is bringing in. It has been doing this for years. I know they bought an emergency call box company to create some sales, so I'd like to see how that is going, but it sure is taking them a long time to release their year end financials. Does anyone know when it will happen. Did the stock take a dive because insiders have seen the numbers?
Here is a link to the last quarterly filing where I pulled my numbers: https://app.quotemedia.com/data/downloadFiling?webmasterId=90423&ref=117060577&type=HTML&symbol=KSCP&companyName=Knightscope Inc.&formType=10-Q&formDescription=General form for quarterly reports under Section 13 or 15(d)&dateFiled=2022-11-14&CK=1600983#Item1FinancialStatements_790366
