From my experience, as a frequent FB flyer, the flights with KLM have either been awesome or super bad. Like for example last year my baggage got delayed for 5 days and I got paid compensation after 5 months, a flight got canceled last minute, and the list goes on and on...

So, I had a one-week trip to Colombia which was great. I flew on my way there on a 787-9 in Premium Comfort, everything was great, with no complaints whatsoever.

Last Monday when I got to the airport I noticed "Economy" on the boarding pass and 12 H instead of 12 A (I always book window seats), and at the airport, they tried to convince me that I'd paid for Economy Comfort. Once I boarded the plane (Bogota-Cartagena-Amsterdam) I went right to the flight attendant who told me that the plane got changed to a 777-200 earlier that morning and that there wasn't any Premium Comfort on the plane, but that they will write a report.

Guess what... I've only got an automated email saying I have to contact Customer Care. Okay, I did that. No answer until now, no money back, no anything. I feel ripped off and I want to know what is the worst thing I can do to KLM to force an answer out of them, as I really don't want to speak to the Indians from their Social Media Channels (which is worthless btw). I was thinking of pressing for a full chargeback with my bank, has anyone tried that before? Or directly sue the company? Try to make their life hell until they just give me my money back?

Personally, I was using Flying Blue for flights to Latin America and within Europe, but right now I think it's best if I avoid KLM/AF as plague and put all of my eggs in one basket with Qatar... I've never had any issues with them and their Customer Care was always fast, professional, and helpful. And that's very important when dealing with loyal customers.
