I’m coming out of a relationship in which I was the dom and had a sub. That relationship was so fulfilling and kind and sweet—- but throughout the relationship I’ve come to realize that me being a dom was more of a reactive kink thank a personally meaningful one.
Not to go into tons of detail- but I’ve basically been on my own since the age of 8-9
Bio dad left before I was born. Step dad passed when I was 9- my mother is still alive but doesn’t ever speak to me due to religious differences and it’s been that way since the moment I turned 18
I want to find a nurturing mommy like partner and explore my preferences to understand them better- but it seems like every mommy-like individual I come across is also a dom.
I don’t necessarily want to be dominated— although I’m open to exploring— but just want someone who’s love language is affection and support.
Not financially or anything. I’m very stable.
And not because I’m emotionally unstable. I’m very confident and communicative and have my shit together. —- Are there websites, or specific terms or searches I do? Or specific traits?
I’m open to any suggestions— not just dating sites— but resources… anything that will help me explore and understand these feelings.
Any guidance is appreciated so much 🫶🏽
