You're with a girl and she wants to try sounding, how do you proceed to sound her if she's sorta new to it?

What steps would you take to make sure she's comfortable. That the fun times are clean and sterile. How would you comfort her if she's feeling nervous about it. Nervous about discomfort and or discomfort about possibly accidently peeing. Does the idea of sounding a girl turn you on? I've done sounding a rare occasion in the past. But it's been a few years. Back then I only used the tip of a thermometer.
