I (19m) respond incredibly strong to a woman praising me to the point of being easy to manipulate and I am not sure exactly why. I know I have maternal issues and issues regarding attention from my upbringing but didn't think they could be this strong.

A woman can call me a cutie or praise me in passing and she is all I will be able to think about for hours on end, and I tend to become incredibly loyal to them even if they only complimented me a single time. I just cannot help it, and I don't know why. Is this bad?
