-tale of the altered beast

 I first heard altered beast on kexp and immediately fell in love with the song. I’m a music first kinda guy so it took me awhile to start hearing what he’s saying. I started to piece the story together from the kexp version.  After many listenings from kexp I decided to get the album. I was blown  away at how much the spoken words add to the song. It felt like a whole story. Where as the kexp version felt like you had to connect the dots to get the whole idea.  I couldn’t imagine this song without the spoken words. 10/10 they are a must for this song. Adds too much to be taken out.

 This one is the same but lesser so. I love the story that it builds, but the music could hold up on their own. That being said I wouldn’t remove them.

  This song is nothing with out the words.

Idk if people are trolling but I can’t imagine this album with out the spoken words.
