It's OK for people to be disappointed with the Silver Cord debut
Post Body

I think if it was a sunny day with perfect sound quality, no one would care that much about a 27 minute Silver Cord debut and I reckon most people would be gushing over it knowing this fanbase.

Unfortunately this wasn't the case, however - other frustrations with the weather and quietness of the show were also present, which I reckon made people a bit more frustrated with the extra long Silver Cord debut. In less-than-ideal circumstances, people probably wanted to at least hear their favourite songs; perhaps not a half-hour jam of a somewhat divisive track.

And you know what? That's fine! I think people are allowed to be disappointed sometimes. Things can't work out for everyone all the time, and I'm sure 99% of people enjoyed the show overall regardless of what they they thought of the setlist. We all want the band to keep doing new and crazy stuff, and occasionally not everyone will love it - it's all part of the process.

Besides, soon they'll bust out a 43 minute rap version of Vegemite and it'll make this debate look like absoloutely nothing in comparison.
