Anyone ever notice that there's almost always that one character who lived abroad in the US or somewhere in Europe ?
Post Body
I've noticed that in K-dramas (and a few other Asian dramas) they almost romanticize the US. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed and can give any insight. It's oddly intriguing when there's a character who can speak perfect English and has lived abroad most of their lives, when they code switch, or when they have that one foreigner (or a group) for authenticity
