I confess -- I knew nothing about your (correction - our!) team before that recent series. It was a fun one. Sorry about Max in the powder blue uni.

Friendship ended with Max Scherzer. Now Ian Kennedy is my best friend.

Things I DO know:

Whit Merrifield rakes and is woefully underrated across the league.

Billy Hamilton is fun to watch the 11% of the time he manages to put a ball in play.

Good closer not great bullpen. I know A LOT about that.

Something called a DH. Doing some google research on that.

Seriously, feel free to give me the distilled essence of KC Royals fandom, in haiku form only.
