Sell Out? (Tickets Question)

I'm heading to Kansas City in June with my dad to see a game and eat alot of BBQ. We will be in town for the 6/21 day game against the red sox. We will also be possibly in a position to see the game the prior night, but it would be a tight squeeze. Here's my question: Will these games sell out in advance? I hate the fact that they are against the Red Sox because I think Sox fans drive up prices, but I'm trying to gage if I should try to buy when single game tickets go on sale or wait until closer to the game. Thoughts?

PS - When we travel, we route for the home team, so go Royals!
