I don’t do meet ups. When kids are back in school I may reintroduce fan coffee dates, but those are a service I charge for, not just meeting up with random people everyday of the week for shits and giggles lol. Some people understand it and others had their egos wounded about it so we’ll see. I haven’t decided yet. But I don’t do any sort of sexual meet ups with people.

So this is usually where people get butt hurt, but I charge for my time for the coffee date, I don’t just ask someone to buy me a coffee. The guys who get all wounded about it say things like “you think I can’t get a date?! Why would I pay for a date?! I’d buy you a coffee but I’m not paying for a date!” When in reality that’s not what it’s about, nor what I’m implying by asking to be compensated for my time. In this work, I have a bajillion people offer to take me to coffee, and if I went out to coffee everyday or even once a week with someone random just because they wanted to meet me, that’s a lot of time I could be utilizing to better my future and pay my bills. Ain’t nobody else paying the bills for me. So if I’m stepping away from my work day to chit chat, yeah I want to be compensated for my time. Every single person who understands and respects that has been happy that they were able to meet me, and thought it was a fun experience with a genuine person. Now, if someone says “oh, yeah I’d do coffee but I’m not paying for your time. I get it but I’m just not doing that”. Okay, no worries man. I am not hurt about it. So anyway, that’s the jist on coffee dates. If I decide to do them again when school starts then I’ll make a post on my profile about it.
