The window gets progressively slower as it goes down, gives up a bit past half way, and it goes up progressively faster until fully closed.

I got the 80,000 screws removed from the panel and took a look inside. It all looks fine but I'm assuming I need to replace the motor and regulator anyway.

I've seen many times the suggestion of a better gage wire replacing the factory wire.. so here's my questions

What gage is sufficient? Are there any tips to running the wire without tearing everything apart? Should I run the wire before buying a new motor and regulator?
