Control arm question 2000 Silverado 2500
Post Body

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 2500 NON-HD 2wd with 261,000 miles. The front suspension has been making some groans and creaks for a while and since it's all original aside from the shocks and sway bar bushings, I figure the time has come for an overhaul.

Myself being a former mechanic, I understand the ease of just buying new control arms and replacing it as an assembly. I have no problem with this. I've located uppers, but can't find lowers. A couple parts websites I frequent list the lower control arm as the same between a 1500 and NON-HD 2500. Can anyone here confirm? Would love if this is true. Thanks!
