Post Body

So there's a situation right now and I need help on how to navigate the talk to come.

So background, a family friend came to stay with us when her boyfriend kicked her out. She stayed a few days then went to daughters house to visit her grand baby. She did not come back on the days she aid she would but she texted my father and let him know.

So I suppose this has mad my father angry (Can't figure out why? She doesn't live here, and while her stuff is here it's not like it's taking up a huge amount of space, she's paid for her own things and such) and he's put me in the middle of this one sided fight by telling me 'Don't let (family friend) in the house without me being there, and don't talk to her either' like she's going to steal from us or something. (Previously he told me that she could stay with us for a week, and he trusted her alone in the house so this makes no sense to me) I didn't let her in the house but I did go talk to her because we're very close (I am 27 years old) when I asked my father why he told me not to talk to her and she was my friend too he said 'Don't question me'. Well I'm questioning and I know there will be a talk after she's gone.

So how do I navigate this talk to come?
