In order to appeal, she must file her appeal within 30 days of the judgement which was on Jan. 1st. Currently she has until July 1st to file her appeal so including today she has 19 days to left to file her appeal (assuming she has until the end of the day on July 1st too). She is running out of time it seems.
Also, to clear something up that I think many here might not realize, she doesn't need to post a bond $10.350M before she can appeal, but she does need to post a $10.350M bond to suspend the execution of the judgement or award while the appeal is to be reviewed. In other words, she needs to be able to post the bond while her appeal is to be reviewed if she wishes to prevent Depp from collecting. In addition, for suspension bonds in Virginia the amount is equal to the amount to be suspended plus 1 year's interest (so $10.35M 1 year's interest = suspension bond amount). If she doesn't post the $10.350M-ish suspension bond, then Depp can still collect all he wants from her during the time it takes for the appeal to be reviewed so either way she needs to have $10.350M to give. It usually takes 2-3 years for appeals to be reviewed (backlog I imagine is responsible for this), and so Depp could collect that entire time.
Edit: I was informed that she has 30 days from Jun. 24th to appeal. Apologies for the mistake.
