Russel: an Exposé
Post Body

As Wake watched Russell waddle his way into the gym, Wake couldn't help but feel a mix of admiration and amusement. Admiration, because it takes a lot of guts to show up and try to lose weight when you weigh 600 pounds. Amusement, because, well, have you ever seen a 600-pound man try to do jumping jacks? It's like watching a whale try to fly.

Russell was a sight to behold. He was so large that he had to wear specially made clothes that looked like they were designed for a bee hive. He had pubes on his chin, and when he breathed, it sounded like a freight train.

Despite all this, Russell was determined to lose weight. He had tried every diet, EVEN METH, and every exercise routine under the sun. But nothing seemed to work. He had resigned himself to a life of being overweight, until one day, he stumbled upon Trainer that promised to help people like him.

So, Russell talked to Wake, and that's how Wake came to know him. Wake was working as a trainer at the gym, and Russell was one of his clients. It wasn't easy, let me tell you. Russell could barely walk, let alone run on a treadmill. And don't even get me started on the weight lifting. It was like trying to lift a small car.

But Russell never gave up. Every day, he would show up to the gym, panting and sweating, but determined to keep going. And slowly but surely, he started to make progress. He lost a pound here, two pounds there. It wasn't much, but it was something.

Of course, there were setbacks along the way. One day, Russell decided to try a Twinkie, and ended up spending the entire day on the toilet reading LSF hate threads. Another time, he tried to do a yoga class and ended up getting stuck in a downward dog position for twenty minutes.

But through it all, Russell kept going. He never lost his sense of humor, either. One day, as he was struggling to do a push-up, he joked that he felt like he was trying to lift the entire state of Texas.

And you know what? Russell did it. He lost over 100 pounds, and he's still going. He's not quite ready for a marathon yet, but he can walk without getting out of breath, and he's even started to enjoy eating vegetables.

So, if you ever see a 600-pound man named Russell waddling his way into a gym, don't laugh. Because behind that jolly exterior is a man who is fighting a battle that few of us can imagine. And if he can do it, maybe we can too.
