These are texts my MIL nasty Nana sent my husband 3 days ago while we were already asleep. Green is hubby, blue me, red my mom, purple my SIL, and yellow my BIL. Its a lot, I know. It was overwhelming for us to read too.

She's rewriting history. She took 3 pills, not 1. SIL didn't know she was hurt because NN didn't say shit, and SIL didn't want to leave her children with a man who turned out to be abusive. (Sil is free of him now, go her!)

FIL doesn't get in contact often (he's in his 70s and busy with work and avoiding covid), but when he does it's normal conversations. How are you guys, this is whats happening at home etc. Never does he mention NN at all. He respects the boundary of we don't want to talk about her. And he's divorced from her! He doesn't want to talk about her either!

Nasty Nana admitting she stole pain meds from my BIL makes me even LESS inclined to have her in our lives in any capacity. Shows that she is still a med theif and drug addict. She can try to justify it all she wants, but... seriously???

She knows the rules to be back in our life. 1. A GENUINE apology. 2. Proof of being clean. Until this happens shes still going to be ignored. Husband and I decided to keep her unblocked and just ignore it. He doesn't have the spoons to deal with her and neither do I. We don't need this bullshit 2 weeks before our rainbow baby is due. Thank God we don't even live in the mainland anymore. No way for her to show up in person.

Why couldn't she just stay gone?
