I am a first time home owner, and I have an old car which does not start (which I have been trying to fix) and I have been parking it in front of my house. Today I saw a HOA violation warning notice on my car, saying parking a car in front of my house overnight is prohibited and will be towed at my own expense (which is seriously the dumbest thing I have heard in a while). I called the HOA asking about this and the lady told me that they can't have cars parked in front of the house as it damages the view of the community (wtf).
Has anyone faced this issue or is this a common thing across other communities as well?
