Hey guys! Wanted to make this post because the Just Dance Team made the bare minimum and readded the removed songs from the base game.
While that is a great thing, I wanted to raise awareness to the fact that all the new editions released in this new engine/era are mandatorily streamed. What happens in 10 years when they lose the rights to these songs?
Well, you’ll lose access to them, even though you paid for the edition back then. And since there’s no physical media, you basically have no work-around.
In fact, a Ubisoft executive said sometime ago that we need to stop getting used to “own” games. And Just Dance (launcher) comes with a BIG red flag of all features needing a connection to the servers that (as stated in the game box) “could be terminated anytime”.
