I finally got him. My favorite toy from when I was a little kid. My mom gave him away because she thought I outgrew him. I was 10 so I hadn’t. Naturally I was devastated. I never thought id see him in person again.

Well it was actually my entire collection. But this guy was my favorite. My mom gave him away to a kid down the street including some of my other toys that i maybe didnt play with that often. She just assumed i was done with them.

Im sorry to hear that man. That sucks so bad. I somehow lost pretty much all the toys from my childhood in some way or another. I had all the alien toys as well that all got lost in another incident.

You can get them all again but its definitely not as cheap as when i was a kid lol

And im sure the memories you’re creating with your daughter and the toys currently will lead to even better memories down the road. You seem to have good enough sense that even if she gets tired of them, or grows out of them to not get rid of them.

Idk why out of all my childhood toys, this is the one that has the most special place in my heart. It just does for some reason and I will never understand why. I have so many less memories of the other JP toys and so many other cool lines as well compared to this one silly TRex.

Oh well, im just happy to have him back :) I hope you continue to introduce your daughter to awesome things!

Thats awesome man :) the happiness that toys bring is whats really important about them. No matter what age. Whether its for nostalgia, collecting, playing; whatever.
