My buddy asked me to jg for him since he got filled and I said sure, but I forgot to bring smite lol. My mistake, so I understand this is purely on me. But it took me 4 camps to hit level 2 (had to recall 4 times as Kayn only taking wolves/raptors/krugs type of camps) and even tho I was actively trying to win the game I was level 2 when the lowest level in the game was level 9. I was able to kinda catch up once laning was over and I could sideline (at least XP wise) but WOW I did not expect the XP to be that nerfed. Since I did the painful experiment for everyone, I just wanted to ask everyone here what they think about the lack of XP, given that this same amount of XP would apply to anyone in the game without smite. Is this a sign that riot is balancing the game around the jg role, given that it essentially blocks laners from scaling off invades? Wouldn’t this also hurt your own team if they are behind and cannot take jg camps to come back while the jg is invading or ganking? Or is this about protecting jg camps from your own teammates farming them?
