A National Leader as a Devouring Mother

I might get shit for this, but after reading Wikipedia about an ongoing situation, just by reading someone's comments regarding someone, it just seemed to fit the devouring mother archetype. That is not to say all leaders are like this, but it is interesting to see a national consciousness be guided by this archetype and will be interesting to see how the alternative plays out (perhaps restore balance, as the nation seems to have been suffering).
