Dream about acting, masks and friend

Any help interpreting this dream would be very much appreciated. I dreamt about doing acting. It was fun. It was with someone I liked, maybe a friend of mine (I couldn’t see for sure because we were all wearing masks). There were 4 or 5 of us in total. I was painstakingly painting his mask in preparation for the performance; it took ages, while the other actors were waiting.
For context, I am going to visit this friend soon for the first time.
