I remember someone mentioned how culture is feminine and nature is masculine. I hope this does not straight jacket things too much, but it seems to click with me. Whenever I have rejected, I don't blame individuals, I say it is society/macro trends as to why X is fucked up, but in a way (especially when it came to romantic rejection), it is still the feminine at play and I am putting my barbs into it, even if it is not a person, the culture is still the personification of this.
Contrast this to the chaotic nature of the market place in developing countries. There is some culture in it (it is a human endeavor), but it is closer to nature, and honestly the chaos of it is comforting. As an example, Avenida Balboa was a free for all in Panama City, Panama and any and everything was sold there in a Bazaar like format.
I always thought it was bizarre I enjoyed chaos, but it makes more sense. The other half of it though is how to direct that rejection without unintentionally aiming at the feminine. It seems like how I have done it is a bit healthier, but still is akin to saying why won't politicians deal with X social issue. It is offloading, even if there are negative externalities from the culture that is affecting me.
