Does Your Shadow Come to You After You Screw Up?

So I screwed something up and was kicking myself, but then I am not sure, but something came over me and said it will be ok and after obsessing over something, this thing (I think my shadow) tells me it will be ok, to dust myself off, do what I need to do to release myself from this and I will be true to myself and not follow whims but the path before me. Has anyone had anything like this?
