Why are graphing Pkgs prone to fiddly package management?
Post Body

Hi. Friendly, positive mindset in asking this question. Grateful to all devs everywhere who contribute to Julia.

Seems to me that graphing packages (both in Python and Julia) have fiddly dependencies, to the point I am struggling to plot Julia in NixOS.

I imagine there is a reason. Is it because of some interface issue between different window managers and plotting packages? Like qt vs gtk or something? Idk. Quite on open question thanks for leads.
