I had this random idea of her and Nobara making a connection somehow and she trains Nobara to become stronger lol. Mei Mei is a physical freak and can fight from long range. She can teach Nobara a lot but then again Mei Mei would never do anything without getting paid lol. From what we saw from her so far, no chance of her teaching anyone or making a connection with anyone (outside her little brother).

It's possible she turns to the dark side because of money and then has to fight someone we care about (possibly a levelled-up Nobara lol and maybe during such a fight make a connection with each other, which leads to character development for Mei Mei).

However, if all she cares about is money for the whole story then and there is no depth at all to her character, I feel that kinda wastes her character a bit. She doesn't need a lot of depth to be great imo. Maybe just a little more than just money money money.

Strangely enough, even despite her obsession with money only, I found her to be quite entertaining so far. Her voice actress is great too. Her battles in the manga were amazing so far. She is entertaining for sure with her massive woman boss energy and fighting style. However, I think she could be even better with a little more depth/character development in the future.

That said, I don't really require Mei Mei to be a good person. All of them have to be crazy about something after all. Just perhaps a bit more than thinking of money 24/7. Sukuna is utter scum but we love him for his character (and voice actor lol) and he has some depth for sure. Gojo is quite flawed too and many others on the good side (or bad side) are flawed in their own ways but they do have a little depth at least.

I wonder what Gege will do with Mei Mei. What do you think? I hope we can see her soon.
