As the main battle rages on between Sukana x Yuji and the gang the story cuts to Maki waiting on the outskirts when suddenly she is met with Yuta. Initially she thinks nothing of it, she is about to ask how things went with the plan, when suddenly Yuta attacks with blinding speed, just barely dodging his sword. It is then, we realize Kenjaku has taken over Yuta's body.

Skip ahead a couple of chapters, after some fighting and Kenjaku using Yuta's CT in unique ways (having summoned curses use the Cursed Speech blowhorn so they can use op phrases without the blowback on Kenny) and everyone is on the ground close to death.

Kenjaku does some villain monologue about how he's grateful they fought and lead to the downfall of Geto so he had the opportunity to take his body, and to finish them off he decides to summon Rika.

He commands Rika to kill them, when suddenly her hand pierces through his body while screeching "WHERE'S DARLING?!" over and over. Kenjaku then realizes Rika has her own personality and asks himself why he didn't know that earlier, considering he had all of Geto's memories. Then it comes too him, the entire time he was inhabiting Geto's body the memories were being actively suppressed by Geto himself, knowing the only person who had the strength and resolve to end him was Yuta.

As he dies, Rika begins to devour Yuta's body, screeching as she does. With that she also devours Kenjaku and slowly Rika starts to fade away, while continuing to devour Yuta's body and crying about how she misses darling and wants to be together forever.
