When this chapter first dropped it was seen only as yujis trust/bond with gojo that caused him not to be intimidated. That makes sense as long as you don’t consider that everyone else there has a good relationship with gojo and even put their life in his hands. What if yuji at his core didn’t feel intimidated by the aura Gojo was exhibiting? Gojos reaction could also be seen as relief that if he loses he knows he isn’t the last line of defense.
