so I've been juicing casually for the past year and I enjoy it a lot. normally I have a carrot base and add in kale or spinach, along with beet and top it off with an apple. I have a centrifugal juicer. I have NEVER fasted in my life and I *love8 to eat. I have been exercising also and have not lost any weight. In fact I have gained weight (but prob. muscle mass) I have gone from 205 to 217 in the past year, but I also started benching just 65 lbs and now I can bench 145 lbs. So anyways - my main goal is weight loss but I also want to continue to exercise. Can I fast and still exercise? My typical exercise consist of running for .7 miles, lifting weights (say back and chest day - i will do 3 exercises for each doing 4 sets of 10 reps), and about 4 sets of of 4 sprints that are 50 yard each, and planking for 3 sets for 45 seconds each. Having said that - how much juice do i drink on a juice fast? and can i continue to exercise? how hungry will I be? Oh god I'm scared!
