My wife was very skeptical of getting a juicer given we had a vitamix, but now our family is hooked! Our kids love making and drinking fresh juices every other day, and we've noticed a significant increase in our fruit consumption. Plus, the juices we make are delicious - our neighbor even said the orange juice was the best she's ever had!
Since getting our Breville juicer, we've also started composting the pulp, which has been great for our backyard. We're so grateful to r/juicing for motivating us to take the plunge and get a juicer.
Do you have any favorite juice recipes or tips for making great juice?
i usually go for about two parts greens (i'll choose from pak choi, courgette, cucumber, celery, spinach, parsley,...) and about one part fruit, usually an apple and half a lemon or a kiwi. if i've got ginger at home i'll throw some in as well!
