According to the Pew study of American Jews, about 2% of Orthodox Jews are intermarried. As a lifelong modern Orthodox person who's spent time in numerous communities, I have never met an Orthodox identifying person with a non Jewish spouse, nor has any Orthodox Jew I know told me they know such a person. Does anyone know an Orthodox identifying person with a non Jewish spouse? If you are such a person, or know them, very curious to know more about how the two things intersect, and how they live practically. Like do they keep a strictly kosher kitchen? If not, how do they eat? Is the non Jewish spouse on board with them being Shomer Shabbat?
Please, no hating on non Orthodox Jews or intermarried Jews in comments.
