i recently learned by dna test that i’m 25% ashkenazi jewish. i didn’t know this about myself. i’m not a religious person and don’t want to pursue the faith, but i would like to learn more about my family history and the ashkenazi community as a whole.
i don’t want to offend anyone or approach this unethically. does anyone have any advice about the best way to engage with the community and learn about their history and their traditions? i wonder if keeping to myself and doing research online is the best route.
thanks in advance for any advice you can offer 😊
