rules on kosher cutting boards?
Post Body

I was talking to a gentleman who after learning my company makes cutting boards expressed he wished he had known someone local to the area made them.

He suggested I market to a large orthodox jewish community near me as they purchase lots of cutting board to keep things kosher? Idk exactly. Just he told me that he has a 4 different boards for various reasons.

My question is what would not be allowed? For instance I seal my boards with a mixture that contains beeswax and mineral oil. And would the glue be a problem? (Couldnt find anything in research)

Also my company has the word military in the title. I see a lot of articles that say there are orthodox jews in the IDF, but they frown upon the American military.

So would my company name be a problem with advertising to this community?
