Changing the wording on a tombstone/
Post Body
My aunt died recently, and my dad wants to get her a new tombstone that isn’t the generic one provided by the facility she was living at. He’s concerned that doing so is against custom or religion. Her grave is in Israel, we are in the states, doing this through a lawyer.
I couldn’t find anything on the internet and it feels like it’s fine, but is there any specific customs I should be aware of?
