Hi all! I’m throwing my second Passover seder this year and the guest list has exploded. Last year I had two guests and this year I have 12! Since the guest list was so small, what I did last year was print all of the haggadahs and bind them. Then I highlighted the parts that each person should read so that we could go round the table.
This year I’ll be preparing the haggadahs the same way but I’m unsure how to handle the reading. I’d love to get everyone to participate but how do I keep it clear who reads what? Also I have both Jews and goyim coming so I don’t want anyone to be uncomfortable with reading what they don’t believe. Luckily my haggadah (A Night of Questions which is the Reconstructionist version) has secular options to read.
Should I just read everything? Go around the table like last year? Assign everyone a small part to read? Do quiet reading time like we’re back in elementary school? (Kidding on the last one!) Any advice would be appreciated!
