What happened to Christine Chubbuck's work colleagues at WXLT (channel 40) after 1974?

Post Body

For those of you who don't know, Christine Chubbuck was a 29 year old news anchor working at a local tv station in Sarasota, Florida who became known worldwide for her suicide on live tv in 1974 (please don't try to find the original video of the act, you won't).

I recently saw the movie Christine which depicts her story and of course it includes a lot of her work colleagues which are also real people and have existed. I was wondering what happened to them afterwards and whether some of them went on to become well-known journalists in the area or beyond. I honestly couldn't find much about them. I am specifically refering to George Peter Ryan and Andrea Kirby but also Steve Turner who feature a lot in the movie. According to what I was able to find, Jean Reed died in 2004 at the age of 88 and I know the real life WXLT-TV owner Bob Nelson died in 2012 at the age of 87. If I'm not mistaken, his wife Mollie is still alive or at least I wasn't able to find any info about her death. This all happened 50 years ago so I doubt that more than 4-5 people who knew Chubbuck at the station are still alive and those who are are probably in their 80s or 90s but still I'm curious to find out.

When it comes to the Chubbuck family, I know Greg (her younger brother) is still alive, I don't know about her other older brother Tim who doesn't get mentioned a lot. Both of her parents are deceased.
