How do I make journaling less draining?
Post Body

Hey, guys! Newbie journaler here. My day to day life is a very busy mess. Everytime I sit down to write something in my journal or to tell my journal what happened that day, I end up writing 5, 10 or even more pages. It takes ages and its soo exhausting. When I write about something that happens I put in every single detail because I feel like it all matters or complicated situations (for example I had to bring my aunt to the hospital today (she has pakinsons)) take a lot of background info/knowledge and I feel the need to explain it again.

How can I make this easier on myself?

I tried setting a timer like „only 10 mins then it has to be done“
I also tried grabbing the cheapest notebook and the cheapest pen I have. But nothing worked for me.

Some advice would be greatly appreciated. I really need to make this a habit to untangle this chaotic day to day struggle.
