my family read my journal
Post Body
I was adviced to have one to keep track of my mental health and wrote extremely personal stuff in it. Last time I updated that journal was last year. My sister found it in my old room while looking for something and she gave it to me laughing about some stuff I wrote there. From my mom’s reaction, I realized they all knew of it. I’ve always felt like I was never taken seriously/ridiculed as the youngest child and now I feel so incredibly so hurt that I want to cut them off.

Agreed. The mocking is just mean. It is not parenting, but bullying. And the sharing that information outside the parental unit is also kinda mean. The sister, unless she is grown AND part of the parenting team, has no business reading the journal. That is messed up.
