I've been journalling for a few months now, and find it very beneficial for my mental wellbeing..woo!
That said, I mostly write with zero structure (however many pages, gaps between entries, only dating them being a constant thing). I struggle to get in touch with my emotions, and delve deeper than skimming water off the top of my mental 'full glass' of stress and existential angst, so to speak.
A pattern that I've noticed is me deescalating my fears through reiterating affirmations, and mostly reciting my daily monotony to self-soothe (plus just give me something to write about lol). This is okay too, but I'm hoping to spruce it up, maybe set some foundational emotion-stirring/prompting things.
How can I do this, and also in what ways can journalling become a really multifaceted and stimulating thing? I sort of can't really conceptualise what that would look like, so I'd love some inspiration. :)
