Recommendations for dispersed camping near JT for a few nights before heading into the Park
Post Body

Hello,

I'm familiar with this website, but I'm looking for other recommendations for May dispersed camping outside but somewhat near the park (<100 miles). Ideally, they would be shorter trails at lower elevations (not too strenuous or too cold). Doing two separate overnighters on BLM or National Forest land would be cool. Total of 3 people (myself and 2 friends). So far, I've found the Mission Creek Preserve Trail in Sand to Snow and I'm considering maybe a section of the PCT. The timeline is later this month, May 2023.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Thank you!
