Post Body

Okay so I've been looking for Discord Servers for fans of Jordan Peterson and his work but to no avail. So I've decided to create one if there are enough people interested in participating. Not simply to discuss JP's body of work, but rather to discuss any and all interesting ideas in the social sciences, philosophy, nutrition, self-improvement, biohacking, and so on.

I've found that fans of Jordan Peterson, and the IDW, tend to be very high in trait openness and also, of course, tend to be quite erudite. At the very least, they don't hate other people for disagreeing with them and are strong proponents of free speech and open dialogue about important and often complex issues that require a great deal of research, discussion, patience, and time to understand.

I'm still stuck in a small town with very little culture and I'm starving for intellectual conversations and debates that will challenge my beliefs, my presuppositions, and especially my current research conclusions. Cordial debate and dialectics are the forge and the whetstone of the mind. (Whetstones were used to sharpen swords and other blades.) If you're unfamiliar with dialectics (the Socratic Method is one example), please look into them, as they are absolutely essential for anyone hoping to better understand the world and how to navigate through it to achieve anything of significance.

Would anyone here be interested in joining such a Discord server?
