Did anyone feel while watching that incredibly engaging catalog of videos that a large amount of time was spent on Sam Harris listening to Jordan clarifying his perspective on God, or religion's role in society historically, then Sam Harris repeating thats not how most people think of it.
Jordan never makes the claim that most people interpret theology the way he does, and since hes not a fundamentalist Sam didnt have any ammunition. He spent all his counter points directed towards people who read every line of the bible in a literal fashion which didnt apply to Jordan. Wished for a more high calibre line of conversation from Sam on those topics. Both of them are intelligent thinkers and was pleasant to watch both minds converge for the 6 hours they spoke.
