If you are able to understand french , fans of JBP might be briefly interested in checking out Doc Mailloux's story / clips. The resemblances with JBP are quite many. He was a little older and came to prominence much sooner (mid-90s)

He's a psychiatrist (instead of a psychologist) who they tried to cancel repeatedly for his controversial takes on women and race. He's a more brazen than JBP albeit not well known outside of french Quebec.

They tried to cancel him dozens of times - and took his medical licence away - and he won it back every time, representing himself in court. When they tried to cancel him , it was because he made statements on radio or TV, not for his actual clinical work with his patients.

He was very good at his job so it was hard to discredit him with actual science. His most controversial stances were on women and specifically overweight women.

But, he was also very protective of children in his discussions of pathological parenting thats fucks up children's development (both directly i.e incest, but also indirectly, i.e. devouring mothers) .
