It’s a hard Thanksgiving. My Mom is at a hospice house and it’s the first year we won’t be enjoying dinner together. But… I needed to share the amazing thing that happened today. I went to see my Mom and we had a wonderful visit. For the first time in awhile we were both in a good mental place with this whole journey since she got sick. A few weeks ago I shared a live performance of Stop This Train on my Facebook feed to explain to my friends the way I was feeling..Then, as I am driving home today it was just in time to hear John talking to a young lady about accepting the place we are right now in life….and then he played the song..Stop This Train! ..At that moment I felt the stress leave my body and felt grateful and at peace with life. I am now going to enjoy dinner with my husband and son and favorite artist who made this time a little easier. Thank you John. This station is everything.
