Gx85 blown engine and replacement

Name says it all. It has a BS 28m707 and I was thinking of buying a different model BS, the 287707 that offers 1.5HP more, on paper it’s the same engine but not sure if it will bolt right due to the fact that the 287707 comes off a craftsman instead of another John deere? Should I just keep looking for the 13HP 28m707?
Drive shaft on paper seems to be sane but not sure cause I’m going by pictures of the 287707 and other websites to correlate info re driveshafts
