Why do I often get "That's all Fellas!"?

In one scenario it just appears to tell me there are no more posts in that sub. However, there are plenty more. They may show up again on restart, and certainly show on a pc. So this problem is intermittent. (Note I do not have more than a few posts filtered in these subs) .

In the other scenario it seems permanent in certain subs. On an image sub I marked all posts as hidden so I could work my way back almost a year. The sub had been running many years, not one. However now I ONLY get "That's all Fellas!" every single time, no matter what I do, restart, cache clear, phone restart... The couple of new posts do show, so it's not broken in the present, but it's like a time limit in joey.

Any thoughts on how to get passed it?
