Joining a des as a dsp client

I'm 0 to 7 hours so from what I understand I'd be bumped to 8 to 14 hours by joining a des provider. What would be my mutual obligations if I were to join one? Like what's people's obligations for 8 to 14 hour dsp recipients?
Wanting to get into work but struggling trying to find places to work so I'd like to join a des to help me find work.
Do they get paid on dsp clients? Will I just be shown the door or will they actually help me find a job?
